What is one word that best describes the school? Tell us why you chose that word.
Committed. Rock Solid is a school that is committed to a solid Christian education.
How is faith and learning integrated at Rock Solid?
Faith and learning are incorporated in many ways, but the most obvious is through the Foundations program.
As a teacher, what is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students? For staff, how do you believe God has uniquely equipped you for your position here at Rock Solid?
It makes me so sad to see even Christian youth leaving high school with little to no idea of who they are. God has given me a passion to mentor and encourage my students to explore who they are in Christ and how He wants to use them to restore His Kingdom.
What sets Rock Solid students apart from other students?
Rock Solid students not only leave the school with life skills like time management and self-discipline, they leave knowing that faith is not a part of life; it permeates every part of life. It IS life!
Share a moment from your time here at Rock Solid that stands out as something you never want to forget.
Some of my favorite moments at Rock Solid are sitting in a circle with my students talking about the books we are reading and seeing light bulb moments of insight flash across their faces. Also, playing fishbowl and laughing until we cried!
